Blow-drying your hair is just one of those things; it looks great in the salon, but when tried at home, it’s just not working out. Believe us; we feel you! We have put together a few blow-drying tips and tricks so you can look fabulous every day.

1. Your Hair Can Be Too Wet

We are guilty as charged when it comes to blow drying wet hair. More often than not, our hair is TOO wet. Did you know that hair should be at least 60% dry before bringing out the blow drying brush? The first step is to towel dry your hair and then, blow dry your hair with your fingers, THEN blow dry with a brush.

2. Use the Nozzle

It’s time to admit to this, ladies. Remember the attachment that most of us throw to the back of the bathroom cupboard when you buy a new blow dryer? It’s actually got a purpose, and it will make your at home blow dry look that much better. Attaching the nozzle makes sure the heat is not blasting your hair in one spot and will create a longer lasting blow dry.

3. Use the Right Brush

The shape of your brush matters people! Depending on how you are trying to style your hair, your brush will play a huge role in your end look. If you are looking for curls and volume, a barrel brush is the best approach. If you are looking to create a straight, sleek look, a paddle brush is what you will need.
